A few kilometres from the port area, Adeje village offers the opportunity of enjoying its urban centre, a place where a colonial atmosphere is mixed with that of this land. The Fort House is an exemplar of the rich past of its population. This defensive construction was erected in the 16 th century to repel pirates and corsairs’ attacks.
